Afrin

The Afrin region is located in the northwestern corner of Rojava, Kurdistan in the Syrian Republic, bordering Turkey. To its west, it is adjacent to the Amik plain, the Iskenderun district, and the Black River.

To the east, it borders the plains of the Azaz area.

The Turkish-Syrian border delineates its northern boundary,

While to the south, it's bordered by the Sam'an Mountain area.

The region stretches approximately 75 kilometers from north to south,

And its width, from east to west, is about 5 kilometers.

It covers an area of around 3,850 square kilometers.
